¶ Let's admit it. We of the WeBLoG generation love to read a good downer entry. A friend or an acquaintance is having a bad time of it, and that makes us feel all the better. ¶ ¶ Well, I'm not going to give you that pleasure today. I could ramble on about the persistent cloud of negativity darkening my door. BUT I WON'T. ¶ ¶ I feel wonderful, thank you. I'll eat lunch in about... lessee... 30 minutes. And then crack open the sports section. Not bad, eh? ¶ ¶ Bruised and beaten by life's harsh winds, I happily shoulder the weight of society's expectations and toil patiently in solitude. I couldn't be happier if my work never saw the light of day, and I received nary a grain of recognition. ¶ ¶ So there. Everything's fine. You can take your sadistic voyeurism somewhere else... ¶ ¶ ¶ (but don't cancel your subscription. we need to keep our readership numbers up..) ¶
